Angel by Dani Wyatt
Rating: 4 Stars
Length: 213 pages
Magnus Leonard knows the first time he lays eyes on Chastity ‘Cassie’ Johnson that he needed to take care of her. She’s such an innocent that his instinct just kicks into overdrive to make sure she is happy and safe. Cassie has dealt with some big losses – she has lost her mom, her dog, her house and now she’s on the verge of losing her job. When Magnus swoops in and saves the day she realizes the protector she has longed for is right under her nose.
Dani Wyatt is at it again – another great read that I recommend to all. Normally I am not a fan of the Daddy Dom/little girl books but this one is making me rethink that decision. The chemistry between the characters was pretty intense; it was this insta-love and I couldn’t wait to finish it to see if they got their happy ending. But then when I got to the end, I wanted more of the story.
Magnus is such a dominant male; and his entire focus in life is taking care of Cassie. We learn of how out of place Cassie feels with people her age; they like drinking & adult related activities but Cassie would rather have strawberry flavored milk & watch Beauty and the Beast. She becomes almost like an obsession for Magnus and it’s so heartwarming to see how he does everything he can to make her happy. Such a sweet read – definitely worth a second read.
