Barbarian’s Taming by Ruby Dixon
Rating: 4 stars
What do you do when you are the last single lady on a frozen alien planet and could have your pick of the large, blue men?
Maddie is the last single human on the planet & she could have her pick of the blue men left. They generally give her a wide berth though because she has a sour attitude. She wakes up from a deep sleep to find she was kidnapped & then crash landed on an alien planet. Hassen is the one guy she should hate – and he is even exiled from the community – but she actually seeks him out.. Seems like nothing could go wrong there, right?
This is the 8th book in the Ice Planet Barbarian series – 12th if you count the quick novellas. You don’t necessarily have to read the previous books to follow this one, but I would recommend it. You’ll be able to revisit all the old friends you met in the previous books for the other couples. The thing I love about these books is the amount of creativity that is shown in the writing. When she’s writing about the alien planet, Ruby Dixon could literally have anything happen in, or to, that world. With each book in the series my curiosity has grown. I literally watch all the sites like a hawk to make sure I know when the next book is coming out so I’ll be ready to read it as soon as it is available.
